Baking + Storing Your Loaf

As a reminder- bake your loaf at 500°F in your dutch oven with the lid on for 18 minutes. Then take the lid off, set the oven temperature to 450°F, and bake for an additional 15-25 minutes. I usually bake mine for 20 minutes. You want your loaf to be golden brown but not burnt. Experiment with cooking times- they will vary based on your oven.
